Character Information
Name: James (Isaac*) Sunderland

Fandom: Silent Hill

Reference: Wiki page you wish, wiki page you shall recieve: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/James_Sunderland

Desired Age: Thirty-one

Desired PB: Kiefer Suntherland

High Quality Image: Photobucket

Desired Supplant: No preference

Desired Job: Tailor (Like hell will he admit it)

Sexual Orientation: Heterosexual, for the most part. He has had a few homosexual encounters (And some of them rather unwillingly), and so considers himself bi, although he strongly prefers women.

Appearance: A fairly good-looking man just out of his twenties. Around 5'7" in height, and he'll readily admit that he needs to lose some weight, being a bit on the chubby side. His hair is dirty blond, and is cut short, although recently he's allowed it to grow out a bit- and his eyes are a light blue.

James' body has taken quite a beating- one that he probably can't remember but vaguely- but it still shows the story. Across his right hand, on the four fingers' first carpal digit, is a horizontal slash reaching across- and on the palm of that hand, three gashes. One of the only other obvious ones is a small line from his left eyebrow to the cheek, crossing his eyelid- the rest are normally kept well-hidden by clothes.

He normally wears a green army jacket over a grey polo and black sleeveless undershirt, as well as standard blue jeans, but when he is out of his favourate 'outfit', most of the time he keeps it simple with a T-shirt and jeans or something that doesn't take too much effort, not much being one for a sense of style.

Personality: While a bit standoffish and, let's admit it, surly at first, James (After a little coaxing) warms up to people who not many could find the good in. He has a lot of trust issues, with both trusting and believing in himself and others. He believes that, should something bad happen, he was the cause of it- direct or indirect- even if he wasn't, and blames himself thusly. He seems, almost, to be constantly lost and searching for something or someone that he forgot about and can't quite place his finger on the sense of hopelessness that follows him. Finds it easy to go to sleep, but he's an extremely light sleeper, waking at the slightest disturbance under the impression that he'll be harmed.

While not nessessarily open with many people, he'll speak up if something's making him uncomfortable- and with the alarming number of phobias and other, milder, fears he has, it's quite often. One of his biggest vices is autophobia, the fear of one's self. He doesn't like being alone for that reason, nor can he be truly comfortable with other people for fear he will, somehow, hurt them. An interesting one to note, however, is that he's uncomfortable with pillows- and a person's cough has the ability to shake him immensely... For a reason he himself doesn't know.

However, despite all of this, he often is very friendly and willing to help other people with their problems, while prefering to solve his own by himself.

History: A boy born and raised by his father, Frank Sunderland, in the city of Ashfield, James lived a relatively normal life until around the age of twenty-nine. He met and married his college sweetheart, Mary Shepherd, and worked as a store clerk to help settle debts and get a footing in life. They lived together until a mysterious disease took Mary's life... Or did it? The man, smothering Mary with a pillow [Because he didn't want her to suffer any more? Their fighting? The coughing?], took the body to Silent Hill. His wife loved it there, and he had promised her that they would visit again... And he was to drive his car into Toluca Lake, killing himself and burying Mary.

As he parked his car and stepped out, a strange lapse of memory hit him- and the town took advantage of his guilt and weakened mental state to form monsters from his own mind. He, in a hallucination, thought that Mary died three years prior- and that he had gotten a letter in the mail from her, telling him that she was in the town and waiting for him.

He went through the trials of a guilty, insane mind, being tortured [and, in an instance or two or ten, raped] by the demons and himself- and finally, when he remembered exactally what he had done to his wife and the reasons for coming to the town, he killed himself... And the cycle began again. He awoke in his car, walked into the restroom nearby to wash up, and recounted to himself, again, the letter he had recieved [stationary, it was- blank stationary] from Mary... Before starting into the town.

(* Isaac is not his canon middle name, but in-roleplay I use it as such. It also serves a dual-purpose. More on that later.)
